Breathtaking views from the house

The home is situated at the top of an 1800 ft. elevation mountain overlooking the valleys below. The constant breezes and elevation create a pleasant microclimate.

Le Stelle, Italian for "The Stars"…

Johnson City, Texas

The property was purchased in 1999 by Italian artist Benini who turned a large part of these 143± acres into "The Sculpture Ranch", a showcase for international sculpture enhanced by the natural beauty and views of the Texas Hill Country.

The ranch includes an 2,880 sq.ft. hilltop home built of cedar and stone with a metal roof, 455 sq.ft. of porches, three stone fireplaces and 360 degree views of the surrounding valleys; an 1,140 sq.ft. private guesthouse in the woods that offers peace and quiet; and an 12,000 sq.ft. structure that has been converted to a quality showroom, studio and office with three HVAC systems, a kitchen and two bathrooms.

Just 51 miles to the airport in Austin, 60 miles to the airport in San Antonio and 25 miles to Fredericksburg. Neighbors are the upscale Preserve at Walnut Springs, the Bamberger Preserve and friendly ranchers.

No city noises but the stars shine brightly at night.

The photo below shows the house on top of the mountain, the Showroom in the bottom right and the road leading to them on the left.
